What I Always Tell My Students

I always tell my students the following.
I equate giving you some facts to giving you a bowl of rice which will feed you for one meal. I equate educating you in 'how to learn' to showing you how to grow rice which will feed you for life. My aim is to make you 'independent learners'. You may have heard the expression 'look after the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves'. An equally true expression is 'look after the learning (ie. get it right) and the exam results will take care of themselves'.
